I was made aware thanks to my good pal Sarah Smizz.
We’re hatching a plan for city wide domination! Not really, but we are pulling together a great proposal for an exhibition that will *hopefully* be in Manchester. If not, probably Sheffield. We’re very excited!
But what the hell has this got to do with BLDGBLOG? Well, everyone is inspired by something. So, thanks BLDGBLOG – you’re an inspiration!

Some collages which are from the REFLECTIONS series. I’m working from these in 3D.
I will be part of an exhibition in Slovakia called Mish Mash. The show will be split into two parts, the first will be in the Hrad Castle in Bratislava (I will doing one of my balloon installations), and the second part will be at the gallery, where I’ll be showing 3 new collages. Exciting! If you can make it, come along.
This is the plan view of my installation, the first section (before the first curtain) is white, and everywhere beyond the curtain is blacked out.

As the viewer finds their way through the second corridor, they are filmed from behind by a camera which is feeding live to a projector. The viewer controls how much light is recorded and projected through their own movements. The camera and projector work to create a ‘never-ending’ space in front of the viewer, as they see the recording of themselves from behind, projected in front of them over and over again into a ‘virtual space’.
